At Black Dolls Matter®, we aim to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Please review our return and exchange policy below for details:
Eligibility for Returns or Exchanges
- U.S. Customers: Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of purchase.
- International Customers: Returns or exchanges for Africa and the rest of the world must be initiated within 14 days of purchase.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and include the original packaging.
How to Initiate a Return/Exchange
- Email Us: You can request a return authorization number (RAN) by emailing us at service@blackdollsmatter.com within 3 days of delivery.
- Include RAN: This number must be included with your return shipment to ensure proper processing.
- Ship Within 7 Days: Once you receive your RAN, ship the item back within 7 days.
Important: Returns sent without a valid authorization number cannot be accepted.
Items Not Eligible for Returns or Exchanges
We cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following items unless they arrive damaged or defective:
- Custom or personalized products.
- Perishable items (e.g., food or flowers).
- Digital downloads.
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons).
- Sale items.
Return Shipping and Fees
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- If the returned item is not in its original condition, the buyer will bear any loss in value.
- Restocking Fee: Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
No returns will be accepted after 30 calendar days from the purchase date.
Reporting Damages During Transit
If your item was damaged during transit:
- Report the damage to service@blackdollsmatter.com within 5 days of delivery.
- A refund or exchange will be processed only if the shipping carrier confirms the damage.
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method (minus shipping costs unless the product defect is due to manufacturing).
- Please allow up to 30 days for your credit to be processed.
